Seyed Massoud Azimi on the sidelines of the inauguration of a sesame production unit in Ardakan Industrial Park by the Minister of Jihad Agriculture, said: In order to support the production classes and develop sesame production units, the company has established a workshop complex of sesame products in Ardakan Industrial Park Is .
He said that one of the problems in this industry is the existence of unlicensed extract units (sesame peeling and sesame production) in unsuitable areas such as agricultural lands and pistachio orchards on the outskirts of Ardakan and added: Due to these problems and Expressing the desire of the producers of the cluster to modernize and expand their production units, the plan to build a special workshop complex for sesame products in Ardakan city was put on the agenda by the cluster of sesame products, which had very valuable results.
Azimi, stating that this workshop complex is the product of the performance of the province’s sesame product cluster, said: This complex has been established on a land with an area of more than 70 hectares and currently about 70 workshop units are located in it, of which 15 The units have been put into operation and production.
Pointing out that Ardakan city is the center of sesame production in Yazd province and the country, he said: If government support and providing the necessary subsidies are allocated to sesame oil production units, there will be a significant boom in this industry and witness We will create significant employment.
The CEO of Yazd Industrial Towns Company, regarding the company’s measures to boost the market and export of these products, also said: Creating an export consortium of sesame products is one of the most important measures to support these production classes.
He continued: Presence in the markets of Russia, Malaysia, the countries of the Persian Gulf are among the measures taken by this consortium and also planning for the presence of capillaries in the product sales chain in the Russian market are among the measures that are underway.
Azimi added: Changing the appearance and improving the packaging of products are among the other measures that have been taken. Currently, 4 units producing packaging containers have been established in Ardakan industrial town and have played a significant role in improving the packaging quality of sesame products.
It should be noted that Yazd province, with a concentration of more than 150 units of sesame products, is known as the center of production of sesame products in the country.
