Zarabad district governor said: Zarabad is the cradle of handicrafts in Sistan and Baluchestan province.

He stated: Two million people in the country are directly and seven million people are indirectly employed in the production and supply of handicrafts, of which the share of Sistan and Baluchestan is 200,000 people directly and 700,000 people indirectly in the production work. Handicraft products are working.

Shojaei in the field of job creation through handicrafts in Zarabad sector added, the development of handicrafts in Zarabad region, due to its geographical location, provides employment, security and a dynamic economy in this region.

Zarabad district governor said: In this regard, temporary and permanent markets for direct supply of handicrafts in Zarabad in the direction of tourists and in the gathering centers of travelers can provide employment for a part of the community, especially women, and generate good income.
