$ 354 million worth of raisins exported last year
The Director General of Export Development of the Trade Development Organization,
referring to the export of 354 million dollars of raisins in 2012, said:

Referring to the establishment of a raisin table in East Azerbaijan province, Mahmoud Bazari explained:
Last year, raisin exporters faced difficulties in returning their export currency and were forced to export their raw materials at a free exchange rate. Return at the exchange rate.
Emphasizing the need to establish export companies in the field of raisins, he said:
Sometimes we see price breaks and negative competition between raisin exporters in export markets.

Noting that the increase in the exchange rate last year benefited raisin exporters, Bazari said:
Grapes are now being produced in many provinces of the country, a significant part of which is being turned into raisins.
The Director General of Export Development of the Trade Development Organization announced the establishment of the National Raisin
Association with the presence of all industry activists in the Chamber of Commerce in the near future and said:
Currently, there are no exact statistics on raisin producers.
