49 tons of tea were exported from Gilan to Russia

Director General of Standards and Industrial Research of Gilan said: 49 tons of tea were exported from Gilan in the first two months of this year.

Mohammad Ali Yousefi today in the standard meeting of the province, pointing out that 49 tons of tea has been exported from Gilan in the first two months of this year, said: This amount of tea worth 680 million rials has been exported to Russia from Bandar Anzali customs.

He added: Last year, 5,760 tons of tea were exported from Gilan abroad, of which 1,506 tons are related to April and May of last year.

Mohammad Ali Yousefi continued: during the last 2 months, 32 export certificates for 1,156 tons of goods include; Dates and raisins worth 57 billion rials have been exported from Astara customs to Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Germany, Kenya, UAE and India.

He added: This amount of exports has decreased by 29% in terms of number, 55% in terms of weight and 8% in terms of value compared to the same period of the previous year.
