Seyed Ali Ghamkhar, an expert in handmade carpets, said: “Tableau carpet, as one of the most important and effective branches in handmade carpets, has a significant amount of export of handmade carpets.”
He added: “The amount of exports is determined by supply and demand, which is currently in recession due to exchange rate fluctuations in the market.”
The expert of handmade carpets acknowledged: “Recently, carpets with special designs and colors have opened their place among buyers and they have been well received, which has improved the market for handmade carpets.”
He concluded: In this regard, centralized and semi-centralized production units are operating and employment, which can be increased to support the number of these centers.
