The CEO of the Handicrafts Organization of Iran stated: With the approval of the general bill for the establishment of the Handicrafts Organization of Iran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the Handicrafts Organization hopes for a bright future.
Engineer Yadollah Tahernejad, who has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Handicrafts Organization of Iran by the decree of the Minister of Industries and Mines, said among the deputies, consultants, managers and heads of different departments of the organization: Iran, which is governed by a corporate structure, will become a government organization.
According to him, this event will cause the independence of the organization, highlighting its role in the handicrafts sector, receiving a share of the government budget, expanding advertising to organize and market the country’s handicrafts in domestic and foreign markets, etc., and consequently many problems What the organization is currently facing will disappear.
Referring to the important role of handicrafts in GDP, he stressed: “With seriousness, perseverance and the use of technology in the production of handicrafts and the use of all facilities, we hope to play a more prominent role in the field of non-oil exports and with the help of God, there will be a bright horizon in front of Iranian handicrafts, artists and craftsmen of this sector.
