Grape harvest began in North Khorasan

The director of horticulture of the North Khorasan Jihad-e-Agriculture Organization announced the beginning of harvest ing some grape
species from the vineyards of this province.
Haidar Namvar said:
Khalili is one of the species that is scattered in the vineyards and has only a fresh aspect that its harvest has now begun.
He pointed out that the harvest of some other species scattered throughout the province has begun:
the harvest of the main grape species of the province will begin soon.
He mentioned the main species of grapes in the vineyards of this province as hats and seedless sultans (raisins) and said:
the highest volume of planting and production of grapes in this province belongs to these two species.
Namvar said:
North Khorasan has 38,000 hectares of gardening area, of which more than 18,000 hectares are vineyards.
