Beginning of grape harvest in Ziaabad city of Qazvin

The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Zia Abad district said: it is predicted that 70 thousand tons of crops will be harvested from 5,320 hectares of grape orchards this year.

Touraj Rahmani added: The average harvest per hectare is 12.5 tons.

He added: about 70% of the gardens in this section are scaffolding and the average harvest from these gardens is between 30 to 35 tons per hectare.

White seedless, red seedless, ruby, Asgari, Mehdi Khani, Sahebi, Fakhri, Mesghali, Shahani and Mollai are the grape items of Zia Abad district.
