Making a steak is not a difficult task, but it has its own trick. The most important points in preparing a perfect steak is to use the right sauce and spices and observe the amount of cooking, which should not be too low or too high. Sesame steak is prepared with a very simple sauce that only needs soy sauce, cornstarch and honey. You can increase or decrease the amount of honey to your liking. As a spice, homemade spices have been used, the composition of which has already been taught. Here, unlike other steaks, we cut the meat and skewer it, which makes it easier to eat the sesame skewer steak than other types of steaks. Of course, this steak can also be considered a kind of kebab.

ingredients :

  • Soy sauce = 1/4 cup
  • Water = 1/2 cup
  • Cornstarch = 1 tbsp
  • Honey = 4-5 tablespoons
  • Beef steak = 500 g
  • Steak spice = 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame = 2 tablespoons

Instruction :

First of all, prepare the steak sauce. Pour water, soy sauce and cornstarch into a small saucepan and stir until smooth.
Then place the pot on a relatively high flame to heat the liquid. Then add the desired amount of superior honey to it and stir until the honey dissolves in the liquid. Let the mixture boil. Turn down the heat and continue stirring until the steak sauce reaches the desired concentration. The sauce thickens quickly, so do not leave it alone.
Cut the steak into thin slices. You can ask the butcher to do this for you or put the steak in the freezer for a while to harden but not freeze. Then easily cut it with a sharp knife.
Soak wooden skewers in water for a while, then skewer the thin slices of about 15 cm that you prepared from the meat. Now sprinkle the steak spice on the meat and rub it well on the meat by hand.
Use a kitchen brush and rub the steak sauce on it. Finally, sprinkle the top sesame seeds on the skewers. Turn the skewers until the two sides of the steak are sesame. Heat the grill or grill pan well and then place the steak skewers on it. Each side of the steaks should be grilled for about 2 minutes. Of course, the exact time depends on the thickness of the meat and also depends on your taste. If you want the sesame steak to be juicy, remove it from the heat a little earlier.

If the sauce thickens too much due to cooling, dilute it with a little warm water.
