Sesame salmon is a wonderful East Asian seafood dish. Salmon is a delicious fish in itself, which is also rich in quality protein and omega-3. If you serve this wonderful fish with a unique sesame sauce, nothing is missing. This delicious sauce is prepared by frying honey, lemon juice and curry powder in sesame oil and pouring roasted sesame on it, which makes you feel the taste of sesame more in the food.

ingredients :

  • Salmon fillet = 4 pieces
  • Sesame oil = 3 tablespoons
  • Honey = 1/4 cup
  • Fresh lemon juice = 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce = 2 tbsp
  • Curry powder = 1 tablespoon
  • Roasted sesame = 3 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper = enough

Instruction :

Turn on the oven at 175 degrees Celsius. Place the pan on the stove. Pour sesame oil, honey, lemon juice, soy sauce and curry powder along with two tablespoons of water into the pan and fry until the honey loosens and mixes well with the rest of the ingredients.

Place the salmon fillets in the oven tray so that the skin is on the bottom of the tray. Spread half of the sauce prepared in the previous step on the salmon. Place the tray in the oven for about 12 minutes. Then turn on the flame on top of the oven and leave it in the oven for another 3-7 minutes. The exact time depends on how big the flame on your oven is. When the sauce is caramelized on the salmon, it is time to take the salmon out of the oven.

If something is spilled on the tray, return it to the pan (on the remaining half of the sauce). Turn on the flame under the sauce again and let the sauce thicken completely.

Apply the concentrated sauce on the fish and finally sprinkle the roasted sesame seeds on them. Sesame salmon is ready to serve.
