End of grape harvest in Khalilabad
The director of Khalilabad Agricultural Jihad said: the grape harvest in Khalilabad has been completed.
Engineer Ali Nasiri said:
150,000 tons of grapes have been harvested this year from the 1000 hectares of vineyards in this city,
which is the largest area under cultivation of this crop in Khorasan Razavi province.
He said that the grape growers of this city earned 1800 billion Rials by producing about 30 thousand tons of raisins, and said:
Khalilabad city has 40 traditional raisin workshops and two industrial packaging workshops for raisins and the products of this product.
He pointed out that 70% of the grapes in Khalilabad city are used to produce raisins and 30% of them are eaten fresh.
In Khalilabad, different varieties of grapes are produced, including Asgari, Lal, Rish Baba, Sarghi, etc.
