He added: Currently, Khark and Rotab harvests have started from Shadegan groves and it is predicted that the harvest will reach 26,000 tons by the end of the harvest, which is a 20% decrease compared to the same period last year.

The director of Shadegan Agricultural Jihad clarified about the reasons for the decrease in agricultural production of this city: Drought and water shortage of rivers have negative effects on the production of crops and these issues have caused heavy losses to the agricultural production sector.

He stated: Khark harvest in terms of regional conditions in different parts of the city continues until mid-August and Rotb harvest until mid-September.

In the end, Matroudi said: the area of ​​Shadegan palm trees reaches 12 thousand and 350 hectares, of which 10 thousand and 350 hectares are fertile, one thousand hectares are infertile and one thousand hectares are seedlings.
