Harvesting 10,000 tons of grapes in Nahavand
Ahmad Bagheri, pointing out that farmers produce and market more than 95,000 tons of garden fruits annually, added: Selling raw materials has created a great concern for farmers.
He continued: We are looking to encourage investors to set up industrial units for processing agricultural products so that Nahavandi farmers do not sell their products with the lowest profitability.
The director of Jihad Keshavarzi of Nahavand city pointed out that this year, due to the severe cold during the flowering of trees in spring, unfortunately farmers and gardeners suffered damages, which due to the lack of insurance for crops, practically no damage was attributed to them.
He said: Despite the problems faced by farmers and gardeners in Nahavandi, they have made good progress in the production of horticultural, agricultural and dairy products.
Bagheri, stating that we are looking to increase the production of farmers’ products, noted: The beginning of grape harvest has begun in this city.
