Harvesting 720 tons of Damask rose from the flower gardens of Aran and Bidgol cities

720 tons of Damask rose have been harvested in the past month from the flower gardens of Aran and Bidgol cities in Isfahan province.
Director of Aran and Bidgol Agricultural Jihad, referring to the beginning of the harvest season from mid-April until now in different parts of Aran and Bidgol, said: Aran and Bidgol, Abuzidabad, Sefidshahr and Noshabad and the village of the central part of Damask rose cultivation areas in Aran and Bidgol Is.
Mostafa Abani announced the area under cultivation of Damask rose in this city as 180 hectares and added: On average, four tons of flowers were harvested from each hectare and in 30 traditional and industrial processing centers of this city, pure rose, essential oil, jam and dried flowers are turned.
He said: to support flower farmers, the agreed purchase of flowers from the planting stage to crop production and processing will be implemented in this city.
Abani announced the agreed price of Damask rose in Aran and Bidgol as 24,000 Tomans per kilogram and said: this amount has increased by 100% compared to last year.
Aran and Bidgol cities have 14,000 hectares of gardens and farms.
