New Poldakhtar ruby grapes enter the market
The head of Poldakhtar Agricultural Jihad announced the beginning of the harvest of ruby grapes in this city.
According to Nazari, the harvest of ruby grapes in Pol-e Dokhtar has started on the 20th of Khordad and will continue for about 45 days.
He mentioned the area of ruby vineyards in this city as 450 hectares and added:
300 hectares of this amount is fertile. The peak fruiting of grape trees is in the third year.
Nazari pointed out:
We forecast the harvest of 1800 tons of ruby grapes, which are mainly sold in the metropolises and surrounding markets.
The head of Poldakhtar Agricultural Jihad Office said:
Poldakhtar grapes will be marketed sooner than other products due to their weather conditions and quality and are new.
He noted that about 1,500 jobs are created seasonally in vineyards.
