According to the public relations of Iran Customs, the export of pistachios from the beginning of this year to two months ago has had a significant decrease, so that the export of this product in the first six months of this year compared to the same period last year decreased by about 30%. The latter has increased compared to the same period of the previous year.
The destination for most of Iran’s pistachio exports in the first nine months of this year was Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Russia and Italy.
During this period, 176 million and 332 thousand dollars of pistachios and pistachio kernels to Hong Kong, 103 million and 828 thousand dollars to the United Arab Emirates, 79 million and 233 thousand dollars to Germany, 30 million and 896 thousand dollars to Russia and 16 million and 905 thousand The dollar was exported to Italy.
Total exports of dried fruits, including almonds, pistachios, dates, raisins, apricots, seeds and dried fruits in the first nine months of this year reached 716 million and 837 thousand dollars, which has increased by 33% compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, about $ 48 million worth of dates were exported, an increase of 55% over the same period last year.
The weight of export dates during this period was 75,808 tons, which shows a growth of three percent compared to the same period last year.
In the first nine months of this year, $ 11,718,000 worth of dried fruits, $ 3 million worth of seeds and $ 850,000 worth of apricot kernels and apricots were exported, which is an increase of 15.6% compared to the same period last year, respectively. And had 6.64 percent.
Among the sub-items of dried fruits exported in the first 9 months of this year, almond and raisin exports have decreased by 5.38 and 2 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year. About $ 2 million worth of almonds and almond kernels and $ 79 million worth of raisins were exported during this period.
