Probability of 10% increase in tea production in Iran
It is predicted that this year we will see a 10% increase in tea production.
Ashrafi, a member of the board of directors of the parent company specialized in supporting the development of investment in the agricultural sector, met with Roozbehan, the head of the country’s tea organization.
Presenting a report on the performance of the country’s tea organization, Mohammad Wali Roozbehan pointed to new investments in the tea industry over the past three years, calling it a sign of dynamism.
He considered the achievements of the government with the help of prudence and hope to improve the situation of this product.
He expressed his hope: “Considering the activities of the country’s tea organization and the efforts of tea growers in improving and upgrading the quality of production, and if the weather conditions are suitable, we will see a 10% increase in production this year.”
Ashrafi, CEO of the Tea Industry Development Support Fund, presented a report on the fund’s status in terms of payment facilities and the number of shareholders, and said: “The Tea Fund, with 45,000 members, has the largest number of members since the establishment of the specialized parent fund for capital development support.” Investment in the agricultural sector has been allocated so far.
While positively evaluating the performance of the country’s tea organization in recent years, he expressed hope that with the prosperity of the tea industry in the coming years, the tea can find its true place.
