Rudbar turned 30 hectares of ruined land into walnut orchards
A villager in Rudbar region, using extension watershed management classes, turned 30 hectares of ruined lands in the general areas of the region into walnut orchards.
Engineer Rasoul Mohammad, director of watershed management of Jihad Agricultural Organization of Guilan province, said in this regard: Ali Mehri, a resident of Heshmatabad village in Rudbar region, has been able to take advantage of these facilities without using government facilities by using extension watershed management classes.
He added: 110 saplings have been considered per hectare, in which 12 to 13 unemployed people in the region in the form of cooperatives had job opportunities.
