pshtzik is a sesame souvenir and one of the most delicious Sweets in Mazandaran. The name comes from a bird named Zik, whose wings are exactly like this one. The main contents are sugar and sesame.
To prepare it, wash and saute the sesame, then pour the sugar into a bowl and place over a gentle flame to melt and take on a brown color. They then add the sesame and finally pour the obtained material into a tray, spread it and knife for a few minutes. Different recipes include walnuts, butter, honey, saffron and cardamom. This kind of confectionery is served at meetings and with tea.
