Hassan Mollai, the weaver of this artwork, said: “This tableau carpet is designed and woven with the theme of hunting environment and destructive effects of human presence in nature, which causes confusion of animals and destruction of natural resources. It is a family affair and an innovative work.
Regarding the raw materials used and the cost of this unique work, Mollai said: “About one kilogram of gold, precious stones such as rubies, jade, several types of agate, silk and merino are used in the texture of this carpet, the material value of which is over It has $ 200,000. The size of this work of art is 120 by 140 square centimeters, the design and weaving of which took 3 and a half years, equivalent to 42 months, and it is currently engaged in polishing and preparation for the market.
Explaining the weaving characteristics of this work of art, Mollai says: In this tableau carpet, 8-step weaving is done and it has 4 types of numbered ridges and combined texture and Glabton knot are used in it. It can be said that the combination of jewelry, variety of colors, number of rows and its combined texture are the distinguishing features of this weighty work of art.
It should be mentioned that the design and drawing of this carpet was done by Mollai sisters, Javad Mollai dyeing, Rasoul Mollai weaving and its weaving by Hassan Mollai.
