11,000 tons of grapes produced this year in Komijan orchards
The expert in charge of agriculture and horticulture of Jihad Keshavarzi of Komijan city announced the forecast of 11,000 tons of grapes in this city.
Mehr Ali Mohammadi stated:
The area under cultivation of horticultural products is about 1,900 hectares,
of which vineyards with the area under cultivation of 1,130 hectares have the highest area and it is predicted
that 11,000 tons of products will be harvested from vineyards.
He said:
apricot and peach orchards are single trees and scattered; However,
there are 205 hectares of apricot orchards and 27 hectares of peaches in the city,
which is expected to be harvested 1,800 tons of apricots and 170 tons of peaches, respectively.
Mohammadi also said about walnut and almond orchards in the city:
In Komijan city, there are 225 hectares of almond orchards and 138 hectares of walnut orchards,
from which it is predicted that approximately 200 tons of almonds and 170 tons of walnuts will be harvested.
