The price of each kilogram of Damask rose in the province is 14 to 17 thousand tomans.

Damask rose is a medicinal plant and aromatic infusion that is widely used in traditional medicine, a variety of foods and drinks.

The amount of roses produced is one and a half liters per kilogram of flowers and six thousand liters per hectare.

Also, North Khorasan has 6,182 hectares under cultivation of medicinal plants, including saffron, cumin, thyme, barijeh, peppermint, sorrel, coriander, squash and flaxseed.
