Engineer Abdullah Rezazadeh, Director of Kashmar Agricultural Jihad, added:
Due to unfavorable climatic conditions and excessive heat, the grapes were harvested earlier, which has affected the reduction of production.

3215 hectares of land are under grape cultivation, which according to the average production of 23 tons per hectare,
is expected to produce 73 thousand tons of grapes, he said. And 85% will turn into raisin.

The director of the Kashmir Agricultural Jihad said that about 6,500 tons of raisins had been produced this year,
adding that 20 percent of the raisin produced were green and 80 percent were golden (smoked), which were exported to neighboring countries, including Pakistan.

He said:
in order to improve the quality of raisin, in addition to conducting 23 soil tests and fertilizer treatment of high-consumption fertilizers,
preparation and free distribution of micronutrient fertilizers,
credit has been attracted for the construction of 8 health workshops for raisin production.

It is worth mentioning that Kashmar city is ranked second in terms of quality and grape production in Khorasan Razavi.
