The head of the Lorestan Agricultural Jihad Organization said: There are 380 hectares of dry and irrigated saffron cultivation in the province.

Bazdar said: Last year, 1,100 kilograms of saffron were harvested from this 380 hectares.
He stated that one of the good ideas that can be effective in sustainable production and economicization of saffron is the value chain of this product, said: In this regard, today was unveiled the first supply chain of saffron production in cyberspace in the province and the country. .
The head of the Lorestan Agricultural Jihad Organization stated: Participants, investors, farmers and responsible guests in cyberspace participated in this chain.
Bazdar said: This supply chain of saffron product production has started from idea generation to even recycling time and includes planting, holding and harvesting, training of farmers, productivity, packaging in all aspects of processing, export, etc.
He said: A number of young people in the city are in charge of this issue, and this important thing will stabilize the planting, holding, harvesting and consumption of saffron, and make the export of the farmers’ income status economic.
